Paul Campbell hopes the Donegal hurling community will rally behind his Setanta after they reached the Ulster Junior Hurling final.
Setanta overcame Gort na Mona from Belfast 1-20 to 1-6 in today’s semi-final at Celtic Park and they now meet Derry’s Na Magha in the decider.
“It’s not too often a Donegal team gets to an Ulster final so hopefully the Donegal hurling people will come out and support us,” Campbell said.
“It was impressive in the second half. Over the whole 60 minutes, it was very good.”
Setanta have been beaten in two previous finals and are well accustomed to Na Magha.
Campbell said: “There’s never been more than two points between us. It’ll be nip and tuck again. We’ll sit down, get back to training and get a look at home. Hopefully it’ll be third time lucky.”
