Donegal author Caitriona Coyle is holding an official launch night for her debut novel ‘College Girls’.
Caitriona will be hosting an informal book reading and book signing (with a few glasses of bubbly of course) in celebration of the novel’s release on Friday, October 20th at 8pm at The Olde Glen Bar.
Caitriona also hosted a launch night in Dublin, at the Carnegie Court Hotel.
Originally from Glen Village, Caitriona now lives in Smithfield, Dublin.
This coming-of-age novel tracks the lives of three young women living in Dublin during the 1970s.
Having left Donegal and convent boarding school behind, the protagonist Cathy Logue begins a new adventure in the capital. She moves into a shabby apartment on the outskirts of Dublin, where she meets Ethna and Meave.
Drawing from her own experience living in Dublin in the 1970s and 1980s whilst attending the Mater Dei Institute of Education, this excellent novel is humorous yet also poignant, promising to resound with women of all ages and all walks of life.
Published by Austin Macauley, College Girls by Caitriona Coyle is available to buy online and in selected stores nationwide.
