Daniel O’Donnell’s entertainment firm amassed a cash pile of over €1.1million last year as profits fell slightly to a cool €2.73m.
The Donegal singer’s lucrative company DOD Promotions Ltd has recorded a slight fall of €123,343 in accumulated profits in 2016.
The company’s finance reports, as revealed in the Irish Mirror, show that pension payments rose significantly to €180,000.
Pension payments were not previously included in the 2015 company books, which is why total remuneration payments to the three directors soared to €275,000.
The company’s three directors – Daniel, his wife Majella and niece Patricia Swan – took home wages of €95,000 last year, down from €120,000 in 2015.
Daniel’s firm has recorded financial assets of €500,000 up to October last year.
The superstar singer is home in Kincasslagh this week after finishing up a Canadian tour.
Daniel and Majella are also beginning consultations with celebrity architect Dermot Bannon ahead of their Room to Improve episode on RTE. The couple will be footing the bill of the major refit in the popular property series.
