Once again, wood is going round and round in Stranorlar! Raitts are holding their annual woodwork machinery and wood turning expo this weekend, with a host of manufacturers coming to town.
You woodn’t believe the top guest line-up and demonstrators they have this year!
Internationally known turner Jan Hovans will be attending from the Netherlands on his first ever visit to Ireland for the show.
He is expert in the field of woodturning, and hopes to demonstrate to both the beginner, as well as the experienced wood turner.

Clive Brooks from Robert Sorby will be offering expert advice on their range of woodturning tooling.
Festool in conjunction with Patrick, from Power Nail Guns in Letterkenny, will display a full range of Festool Power Tools.
Record Power and Startrite will display their range of woodwork machinery, along with expert advice from Stuart Pickering.
Charnwood Machinery will have Charlie Anderson there with his opposing range of woodwork machines. Sean Keogh from Brimarc displaying the Tormek range.
Finally, Sam from Trend Routering will be making loads of saw dust on his router with hinge jigs, lock jigs and loads of cutters.

If woodwork is of interest to you, this is the place to go to see all the products. The show starts at 11am on Friday morning to 6pm. Saturday’s show runs from 9am to 1pm.
