More than 100 families are without electricity on Inch Island following a fault there this morning.
The fault occurred at 9am and crews are working on restoring power to the area.
The following is a statement from ESB networks.
“ESB Networks can confirm that a fault occurred on Inch Island in Inishowen at approximately 9 am this morning. Our crews were immediately mobilised and are working towards restoring power to about 100 customers who suffered a loss of supply.
“Initial indications are that the outage relates to a fault on an overhead line. Updates are available on the PowerCheck App or esbpowercheck.ie. ESB Networks apologises to customers on Inch Island impacted by this outage.”
Update: All power has since been returned to the area.
