Mobile Apps Developers
This is an exciting opportunity for talented JavaScript Front-End Developers to help with the creation of our mobile apps using industry leading App Development platforms.
In this JavaScript Developer role you will be part of a team within a busy mobile development environment. You will work with exciting and challenging mobile and desktop technology (including Android, iOS, Windows Phone, OSX and Windows).
The ideal candidates will have experience of JavaScript front-end development and must possess strong creative thinking and a real passion for programming technology. We are looking to talk to candidates with all levels of experience from two years upwards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and develop applications using JavaScript-based mobile development platforms.
• Develop fast, efficient, user-facing, native-style features using HTML/JavaScript/CSS.
• Build reusable Web Components and libraries for integration into the core apps.
• Participate in the design process and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize the platform for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate well with other team members and stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• JavaScript
• Knowledge of CSS / SASS / Compass / LESS and Responsive Design
• Some knowledge of Node.js
• Client-side storage including IndexDB and SQLite and data synchronisation
• Developing against 3rd party REST APIs
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Developing web applications for iOS and Android phones and tablets.
• Developing web applications for the desktop.
• Appreciation of software development best practices such as version control, unit testing, continuous integration etc.
In addition, any knowledge of the following would also be extremely helpful: PhoneGap, iOS ObjectiveC, Android Java, C#, .Net
Reports Developer
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing reporting requirements and designing/developing reports for InterNETalia’s core product AccuServ.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build business reports using our different data reporting tools.
• Work as part the InterNETalia AccuServ reporting team.
• Managing and progressing all customer reporting requests.
• Maintain version control on all reports and co-ordinate releases with core Accuserv product.
• Creating user support manuals and technical documentation.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Familiarity with relationship database (RDM) and SQL
• Analytic & data mining skills.
• Business process analysis skills.
• Experienced in gathering end user requirements.
•Experienced in writing technical and end user documentation.
• Experienced in multilevel report design including drill down and sub-reporting.
• Experienced in creating reports for multiple platforms including desktop, web and mobile.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
In addition, any knowledge of the following would also be extremely helpful: SAP Crystal Reports, Dataflex Reports Writer.
Support Desk Assistant
The successful candidate will join our support helpdesk team providing end user support to our customers across all of the company’s core product ranges.
The ideal person should be able to work in a team based environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be highly motivated and customer focused.
Hours of work in this role will be 8am to 4.30pm. Flexibility regarding additional hours within work environment where needed. Bank holiday work will be required at times
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide technical support to clients on the AccuServ product range.
• Record, track and manage all open support calls as part of the in-house support team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve/escalate customer reported issues.
• Manage open report logs and report on open issues using the in-house support system.
• Take part in customer and in-house weekly/monthly support team meetings
• Manage open report logs and report on open issues using the in-house support system to support manager.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Excellent problem solving skills and track record at working in IT support environment.
• Ability to communicate with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and be part of a ‘lifelong learning’ environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise work.
