Anna Marie McGlynn said lifting the Donegal senior ladies title for Glenfin was a ’special moment’,
Since winning the title in 2011 – when McGlynn was also the skipper – Glenfin had lost four out of five finals.
But a 1-9 to 1-7 win over Moville at Convoy brought the title back into the hands of the An Gaeltacht Lár outfit.
“It was tough work,” McGlynn, pictured above by Joe Boland, North West News Pix, said.
“We were cramping a good bit at the end and the wind had picked up, but we’re glad to get over the line.
“It means everything to us. It’s a special moment. We had a few girls away, including myself, but it’s good to get back to winning ways again.”
