A Colerane man clocked doing 143km on the dual carraigeway outside Letterkenny failed to appear in court this week.
27-year-old Dean Robert Doherty, from 4 Newbridge Park. Coleraine was due before Letterkenny District Court charged with the offence, which occurred on June 18, 2016.
Garda Gallagher was operating a speed check at Rossbracken, on the dual carraigeway, at 1.20am on the date in question.
A black Nissan Navara, being driven by Doherty, registered 143km, in a 100km zone.
