The Hooked Seafood Festival in Killybegs was another great success and fun family day out on Saturday 2nd September.
Young and old celebrated the seafood, maritime traditions and heritage of the area at Hooked. Cooking, filleting and net mending demos, with music, kids activities and tastings were the order of the day.
A top highlight was the Donegal Chowder Cook Off, which was won by Benji Conmy of the Waterfront Hotel, Dungloe. The new 2017 Donegal Chowder Champion will go on to compete at the All Ireland Cook Off in Kinsale in 2018.
