‘Not guilty’ says accused Convoy sheep rustler

The case of a Convoy man charged with the theft of 12 lambs will be heard by Letterkenny District Court in January.

Declan McMullan, of 19 Oak Park, Convoy, is to plead not guilty of the charge of stealing the 12 lambs, valued at a collective €1,200 from Cregadoes, Convoy, on January 8, 2016.

The lambs in question belonged to Paul Jordan.

Monday’s sitting of Letterkenny District Court heard that 23-year-old McMullan intends to plead not guilty.

Judge Paul Kelly listed the case for January 15 next.
