THE DRAWS FOR the respective football championships was made in Ballybofey this evening.
The tie of the round in the Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure Donegal SFC on paper looks to be the meeting of the two most successful counties in the competition’s history.
St Eunan’s the Gaoth Dobhair have won the Dr Maguire 14 times each and will play one another for a place in the semi-finals.
Elsewhere, Kilcar will take on Bundoran, while Killybegs have been paired with Naomh Conaill and St Michael’s face Burt.
eir Sport are committed to showing two of the quarter-finals and both semi-finals in the SFC.
On Sunday, September 10th, two quarter-finals will be broadcast, one at 2pm and the other at 4pm.
The two semi-finals will be broadcast on successive Saturday evenings.
The first of the semi-finals will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at 7.30pm with the second semi at the same time on September 30th.
Both of the semi-finals will take place under the lights at Sean MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey.
The relegation play-offs are as follows: Naomh Muire v Sean MacCumhaills, Four Masters v Ardara.
In the Intermediate Championship, there will be a tasty derby between Cloughaneely and Milford. Glenfin are up against St Naul’s, Division 2 leaders Aodh Ruadh lock horns with Buncrana and Gaeil Fhánada are meeting Naomh Columba.
The relegation play-off will see Downings await the winners of Carndonagh and Naomh Bríd.
