Mona McSharry has qualified for the 200m breaststroke final at the World Junior Swimming Championships.
McSharry has already won a gold and a bronze medal at the Championships and is on her way to another final in Indianaplois after winning her heat.
McSharry swims out of the Marlin’s club in Ballyshannon and hails from Grange in County Sligo.
McSharry won heat four in 2:30.07 to reach the 200m final.
On Friday, the Coláiste Cholmcille student scooped bronze in the 50m breaststroke and won the 100m breaststroke, breaking the Irish senior record in the process on Saturday with a 1:07.10 effort.
