Jamie Dornan was once again spotted in Donegal this weekend as he enjoyed a round of golf at the Rosapenna Golf Resort.
Fifty Shades star Jamie and his dad Jim attended the Father and Son event on the world-famous Sandy Hills Links which overlooks the breathtaking Sheephaven Bay in Downings.
Dad Jim is a professor in Belfast, specialising as an obstetrician and gynaecologist.
The Father and Son event is an annual competition played on the links, and is mostly played by Belfast golf-enthusiasts. Run by Peter Conlon, the event got so popular that they had to make it private, with 24 teams playing each year.
John Casey of the Rosapenna Golf Resort got a picture with Jamie, and told Donegal Woman that Jamie is a regular at the award-winning golf club.
“He’s very friendly, he played golf and had dinner in the hotel. He’s very down-to-earth.”
The Northern Irish actor then went for a tipple in the Harbour Bar and happily posed for pictures with fans.
A big fan of the Coolest Place on the Planet, Jamie was also spotted at the Olde Glen Bar and Restaurant. The venue is a firm favourite of Mr Grey’s, telling Donegal TV3 presenter Ciara Doherty that the Glen Bar was “maybe the best bar in the world.”
Jim and Jamie enjoy leisurely days of golf together – but they’ve also worked together!
Jim Dornan landed a role in ‘The Fall’ alongside his son, playing hard-boiled Policing Board member John Porter.
Jamie may be getting a feel for the local links of Donegal as he prepares to participate in the 2018 Irish Open at Ballyliffin Golf Club, having been spotted at Portsalon Golf Club on Friday.
As he holds the official title of World’s Sexiest Man – has anyone else developed a sudden interest in golf?
