Boyle Construction seek H&S manager and bid manager

Job Vacancies: Boyle Construction in Letterkenny are seeking a Health and Safety Manager and a Bid Manager.

The company operates in various construction sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, pharmaceutical, retail, and leisure.

Both roles will be based at their Letterkenny office.

 

Role: Health and Safety Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and site audits, and report findings to site and head office
  • Prepare Construction Stage Health & Safety Plans
  •  Generate and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  •  Maintain and develop Safety files on a project by project basis
  •  Provide Site Inductions and Tool-box talks
  •  Collection and assessment of sub-contractor documentation

Key Requirements:

  •  Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as project management, time management,
    decision making and analytical skills
  •  High level of computer proficiency
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong sense of initiative and a “can do”
    attitude
  •  Relevant Diploma / Degree in Health and Safety
  •  Ideally at least 2-3 years experience

Location: Based in their Letterkenny office
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

Role: Bid Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Overall responsibility for Pre-qualification & Tender Works Proposal submissions
  •  Responsible for project managing all prequal / tender related activity and communicating deadlines to key
    stakeholders in order that submission deadlines are on target
  •  To prepare and present bid proposals to potential clients as part of the prequalification & tender process
  • Devise customised innovative solutions which will form part of the win strategy
  •  Marketing including presentations, events, advertising, branding & media

Key Requirements:

  •  Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as project management, time management,
    decision making and analytical skills
  •  Excellent writing skills with ability to write both creatively and logically to produce quality and compelling
    bid documents
  •  High level of computer proficiency
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong sense of initiative and a “can do” attitude
  •  Relevant Diploma / Degree level qualification
  • Ideally at least 2-3 years experience
