A head-on road traffic collision occurred between an articulated truck and a car this morning.
The collision happened at Tirhomin on the main Milford to Kerrykeel road.
Three people have been hospitalised following the crash, two of which are believed to have been transferred to hospitals outside of Donegal for assessment and treatment.
It is believed that the roof had to be cut from the car to access the casualties.
The road has been closed since the collision. Diversions are in place, with traffic being directed via the Harry Blaney Bridge going into the Fanad Peninsula.
