This year’s Ballyshannon Agricultural Show has been cancelled on health and safety grounds.
The show was due to take place this Sunday at Donegal Road in Ballyshannon.
However, organisers have taken a late decision to cancel the event due to the bad weather.
A statement from the organisers said “Hi folks due to the current weather conditions and in the interests of public safety we have had to take the decision to cancel this year’s show.
“The show committee very much regret this decision but safety is paramount at all times.
We would also like to thank all the exhibitors that entered this year’s who we are in the process of contracting to let them about the show, we would also like to all our sponsors and supporters for their continued support throughout the years and look forward to seeing you all at next year’s show.”
