Update: Missing man’s body found during large-scale search

The body of a man believed to be in his 50s has been recovered from a rural area between Milford and Cranford.

It follows a large-scale search this morning in the Bunlin area involving the Gardai and the Rescue 118 helicopter.

The body is understood to be that of a man from Dublin but who may have connections with the area.

Gardai do not suspect foul play was involved in the man’s death.

It is understood a car belonging to the man has been removed from the area.
