Job Vacancies: Lifestart Services CLG is seeking to recruit Lifestart Family Visitors (Initially 1 year – full-time 30 hrs per week)
Essential:
- Recognised qualification in Early Years and Social Care or equivalent in Team Leading or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years practical experience working with families and young children, or 5 years practical experience working with children and families in a community setting in a paid capacity.
- Have experience in:
- Home Visitation
- Working with parents, individually or in groups
- Reporting
- Networking
- Have multi-tasking, time management and excellent communication skills.
- Hold a clean driving licence and use of a car for work purposes.
Desirable:
- Experience in delivering home based educational and family support programmes and a good appreciation of family and cultural differences.
- Parenting/family support
- Have IT Skills e.g. (Word Processing, Power Point, Excel)
