Brian McLaughlin’s first half goal last night proved crucial as the Donegal Masters defeated Tyrone in Letterkenny.
McLaughlin’s three-pointer gave Donegal a 1-9 to 0-9 win over the Red Hands.
“When you have experienced players like Brian McLaughlin to finish it, it’s great, it was the move of the game,” Donegal manager Val Murray said.
“We owed them after last year when they beat us up in Omagh. Fair play to all the lads.
“It was tight stuff. That’s two wins out of two and we’ll just keep going to the next game.”
