Finn Harps took an impressive three points last Friday night as they came from behind to beat Bohemains – and Paddy McCourt, again, was at the controls.
McCourt only came on as a substitute, replacing the injured Danny Morrissey in the 42nd minute, but the former Celtic and Northern Ireland ace gave a masterclass.
Harps were level on his introduction, after Eddie Dsane cancelled out Dinny Corcoran’s opener.
McCourt’s wizardry helped put Harps ahead in the 58th minute as his delicious pass fed Sean Houston, who made no mistake.
“I think he’s the only person in the ground who would have seen that pass,” said Harps manager Ollie Horgan after the game.
