Jason Quigley performed the official opening of the new extension at Raphoe ABC last night.
Quigley, who is going back to Los Angeles after two months at home following an injury, cut the tape at Raphoe ABC’s new weights room at the clubhouse in St Eunan’s Terrace.
Quigley is a long friend of the Raphoe club, whose driving force Peter O’Donnell is a regular attender at the Ballybofey man’s fights.
Quigley won the NABF middleweight title in March, when he defeated Glen Tapia at Fantasy Springs, Indio.
Having boxed eight rounds with a broken right hand and severed tendons, Quigley has had to take a break, but will go back into training soon at The Rock Gym in Carson, where he works under coach Manny Robles.
