Two hospitalised after being rescued from housefire in Newtowncunningham

Two people have been hospitalised after a housefire in Newtowncunningham overnight.

The people were rescued from the blazing house and rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital.

Their injuries are not understood to be life-threatening.

The fire service and Gardai have launched an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
