An American businessman has captured the beautiful coastal views from Donegal Airport in a video that is making waves online.
Peter Bench, a Boston-based businessman with Benchmark Strategies, was clearly impressed with the world-famous landing strip at Carrickfinn after telling Independent.ie. that it was “the most beautiful landscape take-off I had ever seen’.
Mr Bench was in Donegal to meet local companies with Donegal County Council and Derry City & Strabane District Council. The Ireland North West companies received advice on doing business in the US before travelling to Boston later this year. Donegal Airport was one of Mr Bench’s final stops on the route home after the trip.
Earlier tthis year Donegal Airport was named the second most scenic airport landing location on the planet. An independent panel of travel industry experts and influencers selected the airport at Carrickfinn as Most Scenic Airport Landing of 2017, one place behind Juancho E Yrausquin Aiport in Saba.
