Magician Dylan Murray has wowed judges once again after taking part in the Dublin Talent Variety Show last weekend – coming out in first place!
Dylan, who has been compared to British superstar illusionist Steven Frayne (Dynamo), is also the reigning winner of Derry’s Got Talent.
Dylan was absolutely delighted when one of his heroes, the renowned Dynamo, tweeted him with a note of congratulations for featuring on the front page of Donegal News and for winning the Dublin Talent Variety Show.

Hosted by Alan McGarry Love, the Dublin Talent Variety Show saw some of Ireland’s most talented performers compete in a bid to win the title and a cool €1,000 prize.

Dylan says “I want to say a massive thank you to all the event managers involved and to the two fantastic hosts for the evening for doing an excellent job, and also a massive thank you to the seven judges for their lovely comments, their kind works, and for picking me as their winner of the competition!
“There was such exquisite talent in the competition and I am just amazed and very proud to say that I’ve brought the title back home to Donegal.
“It’s such an amazing feeling to be able to perform and share my magic with audiences from all across Ireland! Dreams really do come true!”
Speaking to Donegal Daily following his last viral video at the beginning of June, Dylan revealed that he has a few more tricks up his sleeve this summer. Dylan says that he is currently working on a very special project, and will be releasing details over on his Facebook page in the coming weeks.
