Job Vacancy: The Students’ Union at Letterkenny Institute of Technology are seeking applicants for the role of GAA Coach (Part-time)
The Student Union in Letterkenny Institute of Technology invites applications from suitably qualified people for the following position in the Student Union.
GAA Coach (Part –time)
Minimum qualifications.
The successful applicant will possess a level 1 adult coaching certificate from the GAA.
The successful applicant must be equipped to oversee the running of a student programme that will require a knowledge of GAA activities. The successful applicant will be required to be available for all competitive games in the colleges programme throughout the academic year.
Relevant work experience.
In addition to the GAA level 1 qualification, the successful applicant will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years coaching experience with a senior GAA club, or
- A minimum of 3 years senior club playing experience
Short listing of applicants will be a part of the application process followed by a selection board to assess suitability of the final short-listed candidates.
It is desirable that the successful applicant will have a first aid qualification and also have a competency in Microsoft skill to include Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Rate of Pay:
A rate of pay will be agreed with the successful candidate prior to commencing duties.
Completed applications on the Student Union Application Form must be returned to the Human Resources Department in the Institute not later than 12 noon on Thursday 13th July 2017.
