Ballybofey and Stranorlar’s Main Street is set to be resurfaced following complaints from several residents.
The condition of the road had gotten worse over the past few years largely due to the number of road construction works being carried out in the area, said TD Thomas Pringle.
Pringle said that Donegal County Council have confirmed that the main road coming into Ballybofey will be resurfaced once the major construction had been completed and that funding had been sourced.
Alongside the road resurfacing the town river is set to also receive a new footbridge and that resurfacing the bridge deck is part of the work planned.
