Twin Towns Celtic Supporters Club held their twentieth anniversary last weekend.
A variety of events took place over the weekend for all who attended.
Anton Rogan White from Clydebank CSC arrived on the Friday evening, and was reunited with old friends before Jim and Paula’s from Mc Kelvey’s Bar hosted a barbecue and later Marty Temple provided the tunes.
On Saturday afternoon the group headed to Cappry Park to play for the Anton Rogan White Memorial Cup, resulting in a 3-3 draw. The CSC wish to thank Jamie Doherty and Danny Boyle of Cappry Rovers who looked after them so well during their visit.
The Evening with Chris Sutton took place in The Finn Suite of Jackson’s Hotel. A lively questions and answers session took place before Chris previewed the Champions League final. More questions followed at half time followed by photographs with Chris. A replica of the European Cup was on show too.
CSC wish to extend grateful thanks to Hugh, Manager of Jackson’s Hotel, for all his efforts in arranging the evening. The group then moved next door to the Pyramid Suite in Jackson’s Hotel to listen to The Irish Brigade.
Sunday saw everyone come together for the club’s anniversary dinner dance. The arriving patrons got the opportunity to have their photograph taken with our Guest of Honour, Chris Sutton and our Special Guest, Jay Beatty, who arrived in the afternoon.
The Twin Towns CSC extends thanks and appreciation to all who helped and participated in any way. A big thank you goes to their guest of honour, Chris Sutton and special guest, Jay Beatty.
