The family of the late Eunan ‘Busty’ Blake would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother:
Thanks to all our relatives and friends, who travelled from near and far, to attend the wake and funeral, those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and gave donations to St. Eunan’s Nursing Home Resident’s Comfort Fund.
We would like to thank the staff of St. Eunan’s Nursing Home for the excellent care Busty received. Sincere thanks also to Dr. Paratian, Ark Medical Centre, and to the undertaker, Paschal Blake, assisted by James Green and Gabriel Blake, for their professionalism and support.
Thanks to those who brought food and refreshments, made teas, and kept roads safe outside the house during the wake.
Our thanks to Letterkenny Rovers and Derry City Football Clubs for their guard of honour.
Our special thanks to Fr. Philip Daly who celebrated the funeral mass, together with Fr. Eamonn Kelly, Fr. Willie McMenamin and Fr. Tommy Curran. To Fr. Philip Keemy who led the rosary at the wake, the prayers were very much appreciated.
Thanks are also extended to the Hennessy Sisters for the beautiful singing at the funeral mass.
As it would be impossible to personally thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere thanks and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Busty’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Eunan’s Cathedral on Wednesday, 7th June, at 7.30pm.
