An emergency meeting between Gardai and local councillors will take place in Carndonagh tomorrow (Tues) following a recent spike in break-ins.
The meeting will take place at 9.30am to discuss the ongoing situation in the Inishowen Peninsula.
It is understood a number of people have been arrested and interviewed in connection with recent incidents.
However, Cllr Albert Doherty says he is encouraging any business people with fears to come forward and they will be relayed to Gardai.
Cllr Doherty said that one of the aims he holds for the meeting is to have a greater Garda presence on the street of the town.
