There was no joy for the Inishowen League in today’s Oscar Traynor Trophy final as Clare District League claimed narrow 1-0 win at Maginn Park.
Inishowen, appearing in their third final in recent years, couldn’t draw level despite a series of chances in the second half.
Sub Matthew Henry hit the post with their closest attempt, but it was a disappointing day for the Diarmuid O’Brien-managed team.
