Drumkeen National School was one of 52 schools across the county that took part in the 1for1@1 challenge.
The 1FOR1@1 challenge involves carrying out an activity on a chosen day at 1pm – when completed, children are asked for donate €1 – hence the name 1FOR1@1, in aid of cancer research.
Students and teachers at Drumkeen National School soaked up the sun as they chose to do a fun-filled P.E. session as their challenge.
The 1for1@1 challenge was created when the team at Donegal Daily joined forces with the Relay for Life Donegal committee to promote the Schools Challenge in order to raise vital funds for cancer survivors, with an extensive research programme currently underway at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Relay for Life are extremely grateful to all of the children, teachers, and staff who took part in the challenge.
