There’s a big Northwest Derby at the Curragh this Saturday in the Northern Section of the National League this afternoon when the Finn Harps U17s host Derry City (kick-off 2.00).
Declan Boyle’s boys sit joint top of the table and will go into match as slight favourites to take the three points despite the loss to the Candystripes in the Mark Farren Memorial Cup last month.
Last Sunday Harps deservedly drew 1-1 in Dublin with joint leaders St. Patrick’s Athletic, even though it did take a late Keelan McGill equalizer to earn a share of the spoils.
For today’s game Declan Boyle has to plan without Marc Walsh and Conor O’Reilly who are both on international duty with the Republic of Ireland U16s at a tournament in Mayo.
