Donegal Tourism– together with six tourism enterprises – attended the recent Balmoral Show in Belfast as part of its push to grow visitor numbers from Northern Ireland this year.
The stand operated under the umbrella of Donegal Tourism, promoting the county in its entirety and its part of the new aggressive marketing approach by Donegal Tourism to attract even greater numbers of visitors to the county by a collaborative effort.
The Balmoral Show is Northern Ireland’s largest agricultural event, attracting more than 100,000 visitors – potential holidaymakers for Donegal – over four days, providing an excellent platform to showcase the superb tourism experience on offer here for holidaymakers.
Barney Mc Laughlin, Head of Tourism for Donegal Tourism, said: “Events like the Balmoral provide us with a wonderful platform to spread the word about the many great experiences that Donegal holidaymakers can enjoy around the county.
Donegal Tourism would like to thank Castle Grove Country House, Harveys Point Hotel, Clanree Hotel, Arnolds Hotel, Rosapenna Hotel and Golf resort and Inishowen Gateway for their participation.
