Serious road collison occurs involving lorry and car

The road between Donegal Town and Ballyshannon is closed this afternoon following a serious road traffic crash involving two vehicles.

A lorry and a car were involved in the crash on the main N15 road outside Ballintra. It is believed that at least one person has incurred serious injuries.

Emergency services are attending the scene. The road is closed and traffic is currently being diverted through Ballintra until further notice.
