Conservative British MP Nick Harrington posted an anti-Irish tweet after Ireland awarded the UK ‘nul points’ during the voting segment of the Eurovision Song Contest last night.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, Cllr Andrew Mobbs, the leader of Warwick District Council, said that Harrington will be suspended for six months due to the tweet, and stressed that an investigation will be underway.
