Warning after another gorse fire breaks out

Two units of the fire service from Dungloe brought a gorse fire under control near Burtonport this evening.

The fire was burning near houses at Lackenagh when it was reported by a member of the public.

The fire crew quickly brought the blaze under control and no damage to property was reported.

People are being asked to refrain from lighting fires outside particularly in the dry spell of weather.
