Donegal hurling manager Ardal McDermott had no qualms today after seeing his side fall to a heavy defeat to Tyrone in Carrckmore.
“Tyrone were the bigger, better, stronger team and they wanted it more,” McDermott admitted.
“I’m talking all year about performance. We didn’t perform and they did.
“We weren’t as cohesive or as together and it just didn’t work out for us.
Tyrone were smarter and played better hurling. The touch wasn’t there and the hunger wasn’t there. We were out-performed.”
