We have been swamped with best wishes from our readers following the launch of our new-look website.
We believe that as digital media evolves, so must we.
Now we’re proud to bring you three sites in one as we incorporate our sister sites, Donegal Woman and Sport Hub.
The new look may take a while to get used to using but we guarantee there will be a lot more news, views, sport and features and it’s all for free as usual.
Again our main aim will be to bring you breaking news across Donegal as it happens.
But Donegal Daily wants to be much more than a news portal.
We aim to be a one-stop-shop for all things Donegal.
From picture galleries to videos with a Donegal slant, our view is that no news is that no event is too big or small to get a mention on Donegal Daily.
Our columnists will play a big part too in ensuring a different type of read each day.
From motoring with Brian McDaid, fashion with Evolve Menswear and fitness with Emmet Rushe, readers can also browse columns on gardening, fashion, medical matters, hairdressing, wellness, travel, childcare and much, much more.
We have also linked up with our two sister sites, Donegal Woman and Sport Hub, to give you a different experience each day.
Despite only being launched at the end of November, the site has been a huge success to date with almost 10,000 people now following it on Facebook.
Edited by Letterkenny woman Rachel McLaughlin, the site has become a real voice for Donegal Women.
The success of Sport Hub has also been a huge talking point in the Donegal media landscape in the past year.
Edited by Chris McNulty, the ‘Hub’ is a daily ‘must’ for all sports fans across Donegal.
Its coverage of all sports including GAA, soccer, boxing, golf, athletics and everything else in between is unrivalled on the sporting front.
We also appreciate and respect the support shown to Donegal Daily and our sister sites by the businesses across Donegal.
Without their support, we could not have developed into the biggest online news in the county today.
We will continue to bring readers news of their plans and their successes along the way.
And it doesn’t end there. We have many more plans which we hope will make the Donegal Daily product an even bigger success and an even more enjoyable experience – be that on your laptop computer, tablet or on your mobile phone.
But that’s for another day.
Right now we’re away to catch up with what’s happening across the Coolest Place on the Planet and let you, our loyal readers, know all about it.
