Letterkenny student Aoife Gallagher will be traveling to Malawi this summer, volunteering and providing medical aid in Nkhoma Hospital.
Aoife is a medical student and she is in her fourth year in University College Cork and is travelling with the Surgeon Noonan charity run by the University.
A Coffee Morning to help raise funds for Aoife’s trip will be held this Friday 7 April, from 10am-12pm in the Tea Cosy, Main Street, Letterkenny.
All proceeds from the coffee morning will go directly towards rural, underfunded hospitals in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Aoife will be traveling with 5 other medical students.
