But our lads got over the line 5-8 to 4-9 to Buncrana!
Well done boys!
Minor Hurling:
Buncrana recorded a very comfortable against Setanta in The Scarvey on Thursday night.
This is their second win having already accounted for neighbours Burt earlier in the week.
Management are greatly encouraged by the squads efforts so far with all showing well in the 2 games to date!
Score of the night came from young Oran Tourish, dispite being on the end of a hefty challenge on the forty yard line he ran on beat 2 further defenders to bury the ball in the back of the net.
But the stand out performance in the matches so far has to be another young star ,Cathal og Wilson; still only 15 years old, he gave a master class of defending at this minor grade.
Well done lads!
