St. Eunan’s College are hosting a fun-filled fundraiser based on the 80s gameshow ‘It’s A Knockout’ on Saturday the 6th of May from 12pm to 3pm.
Contestants on ‘It’s A Knockout’ must use team-building skills to maneuver their way through a hilariously absurd course, with the team amassing the most points becoming the victors.
Families, friends, and workmates are welcome to form a team and register for the event.
If you would like to register a team you can do so by emailing itsaknockout@sainteunans.com.
You can also check out their Facebook page by clicking here.
Fundraisers will have a sponsorship sheet with them (printed in colour), and official sheets will have the St. Eunan’s school stamp at the bottom.
Last week school officials asked the public to be careful of who they give sponsorship to, as some people purporting to be fundraising were actually not affiliated with St. Eunan’s, with the funds not going towards the school.
A spokesperson for the Parent’s Association at St. Eunan’s said; “Whenever we are running a fundraiser, full details will appear on this page beforehand and those collecting will always have documentation from us to identify them, or one of us will be present to confirm that the collection is legitimate. When in doubt, don’t hand over anything and check with this page.
“Teams that are registered to take part in our It’s a Knockout contest will be fundraising individually for their teams in the coming weeks, but you should look for our official sponsorship form, pictured below, printed in colour. If in doubt, contact us here before agreeing to sponsor.
“Again, if someone collecting on behalf of the school or Parents’ Association cannot produce ID and show you legitimate documentation that matches what we show here, please do not give them money.
