Dismay as Donegal forest sullied by vandals

There has been dismay amongst local residents of Muff as Lisnagra Forest has become sullied by quad tracks.

During the good weather last week, people took to the forest to ride their quads – effectively ruining the ground and making it uneven.

A local resident added that trees have also been cut down, and shockingly alleged that people have been hunting with their dogs in the forest.

“This is a local beauty spot and has some endangered wildlife such as red squirrels and various birds.

“Noisy quads and dogs barking all day as they search for wildlife will worry animals and birds during the breeding season.
