Cranford Athletic Club’s Aoife Giles won gold in the U14 girl’s shot put at the National Indoor Track and Field Championships in Athlone.
Hundreds of athletes from around Ireland traveled to Athlone IT to take part in the national competitions which hosted everything from sprinting to triple jumps!
Aoife’s massive throw of 11.59 secured her position in first place above the seventeen other competitors in the competition.
