Elevation Falls are a young Irish Classic Rock/Blues Band, fronted by the powerful and unique young singer, 21 year old singer/songwriter Hazel Jade, their warrior queen, who featured with her cover of ‘Imagine’ on TV3 when she was a mere 16 years old.
Having formed the band in late 2012, her band Elevation Falls have performed at many festivals from Ireland to Croatia including Electric Picnic and Sunflower Festival in Northern Ireland. They’ve appeared on local radio stations such as Radio Nova, Spin 1038 and many, many more worldwide.
They have performed at a number of Irish festivals such as Electric Picnic and Knockanstockan, Vantastival, UFO Festival in Croatia, and Sunflower Festival in Northern Ireland. This summer they will tour throughout Ireland, the UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Germany.
Their songs have gathered huge attention from rock fans, with over 105,413 views on their Youtube channel.
With the Gary Moore influenced duelling guitarist Chris & Darragh, alongside a pumping rhythm section provided by the drumming protege Korey, & the multi-talented instrumentalist Gabriel, they create foot stomping beats alongside soulful epic drama, sweeping audiences along with them on a musical journey. Their last major video release ‘Watching Over You’ included a cameo appearance for one of their long term supporters, Philomena Lynott.
They do a lot of charity work as a band, and have supported www.jacketoffyourback.com (homeless and displaced charity worldwide) with a Christmas Charity Single and many other charities, in particular those to do with homelessness such as Focus Ireland, Simon Community, Oxfam and many more. T
hey’ve just become part of a recent Northern Ireland charity initiative called ‘Chronically Fabulous’, which is a photography and touring music campaign about body positivity and chronic illness and challenging perceptions.
Hazel Jade (lead singer) who has been bullied online about her weight and personal style for a number of years, is also very supportive of any charities that help young people in these circumstance, she has been on radio discussing her experiences and how she copes, and also supports charities concerned with suicide prevention.
They will be appearing at Molly’s Bar & Entertainment Complex in Dunfanaghy at 10pm on April 1st.
