The 30th annual Irish Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day took place yesterday, with volunteers selling daffodils across Ireland.
Killybegs was turned yellow yesterday with daffodils being sold in the town and volunteers being clad in sunny yellow bibs.
By selling daffodils, hosting coffee mornings, and by sponsoring a flower in the Garden of Hope, the Irish Cancer Society raise vital funds to improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
Last year daffodil sales in Killybegs raised a staggering €2,100 for this fantastic cause.
If you could not get a daffodil yesterday but you would still like to donate you can text CANCER to 50300 to donate €4 ,or log on to www.cancer.ie for more information.
