Almost 2,000 people have attended the removal of Martin McGuinness in his native Derry.
A huge crowd marched behind the coffin of the Sinn Fein politician as it was carried from Bradley/McLaughlin Funeral Home on William Street to his home at Westland Avenue in the Bogside.
Many people from Donegal travelled to Derry to attend Mr McGuinness’ removal.
The former Northern Ireland deputy First Minister had many close friends in Donegal and spent a large part of his free time in and around Buncrana.
Among those who carried Mr McGuinness’ remains were Sinn Fein’s Michelle O’Neill and Gerry Adams.
There was an eerie silence of respect as Mr McGuinness’ remains were carried past Free Derry Corner.
Tributes continued to flow in from across the world for Mr McGuinness including a glowing tribute from Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
His funeral mass will take place this Thursday.
