Seniors and Reserves
The seniors lost out at the weekend to Buncrana on a scoreline of 1-07 to 1-03 while the reserves lost out 1-11 to 1-06. The reserves welcomed back a few experienced players this year with Robert Porter, Lochlainn Byrne, William Logan and Jonathan McCarron. Martin McLaughlin also debuted in goals for this promising young side that train hard and are developing all the time and who are now together for a second year under Terence McLaughlin. They led at half time but Buncrana’s extra experience with several ex-senior players being the difference on the day.
The team lined out: Martin McLaughlin, Cathal Collins, Cormac Cullinan, Conor Quigley, Robert Porter, Thomas McLaughlin, Jonathan McCarron, Joe Doherty, Lochlainn Byrne, Joseph Doherty, Jonathan McLaughlin, Tiarnan Stevens, Padraig McCarron, Daniel Houghton and Ciaran Doherty.
The substitutions made were Christopher McLaughlin for Daniel Houghton, Paco McLaughlim for Jonathan McLaughlin and William Loan for Ciaran Doherty.
Michael Murphy Sports Senior Championship draw
Malin have been drawn in group A of the Michael Murphy Sports Senior Championship draw along with Bundoran, Sean MacCumhaills and St. Michael’s. They play Bundoran away while the other two games are at home.
Big Breakfast
Our Annual Big Breakfast will take place on St Patrick’s Day, Friday 17th March from 9.30am to 1.30pm. Adults are only €5 and children only €3. It’s always a great feed and a lovely social morning for the community and Club. All are welcome.
Lotto
This week’s lotto jackpot of €1100 was won by Francis McLaughlin, Fildara. The numbers drawn were 3-2-1-5-6-4-7. The sellers prize went to Jack and Jamie McLaughlin. Next week’s jackpot is €500.

The Under 6 fundamentals sessions are held every Sunday at 10:00-11:15am.
The Under 8’s Boys training sessions are held every Saturday at 3:00-4:15pm
The Under 10’s Boys training sessions are held every Sunday at 11:30-12:45pm
The Under 12’s Boys training sessions are held every Friday at 6:15-7:30pm
The Under 6, 8 and 10 Girls training sessions are held every Saturday at 11:00am-12:00pm
The Under 12’s Girls training are held every Monday at 4:30 – 5:30pm
The Under 14’s Girls training sessions are held every Wednesday at 5:15-6:15pm

Rising Stars Music Academy
The ‘Rising Stars Music Academy’ will start on Saturday the 28th of January. For more information contact Annah Lafferty on 0866680565. The times for each session are 12:15-1:00pm for the 5-10 age group and 1:00-1:45pm for the 11-16 age group. Classes will be €5.

Fitness Classes
Are you giving up something over the Lenten season? Why not take up something instead. 40 Days to Fitness starts on Monday the 27th February and runs until Friday 7th of April in the Get Fit Gym at Malin GAA Clubhouse. Classes run daily.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday classes @9:30am, Ladies @6:30pm, Spin @7:30pm and Spin @ 8:30pm. Tuesday & Thursday classes @6:30am and Men @8pm. Well done to club player Michael Walsh who captained his school Scoil Mhuire, Buncrana, from midfield in their one point victory in the under 14.5 county final against Crana College last week.
