These are the images which show the large oil spill on the River Swilly at Letterkenny.
The images were taken in recent days at the rear of the Riverside Retail Park.
They clearly show large traces of oil covering the river for long stretches.
Local county councillor Gerry Mc Monagle has called for urgent action to be taken on the spillage.
He also wants the local council to launch an investigation into the cause of the spillage.
