The pupils of St. Columba’s NS Ballylast, Castlefinn hosted a delicious pancake party today in aid of charity.
The students and teachers of the Donegal national school flipped and decorated pancakes to raise funds for The National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght.
The whole school got together this morning for some delicious treats topped with their choice of nutella, sugar, jam or butter. Parents Anne McCullagh and Louise Doherty helped out with the cooking on the day.
The complete fundraising total has yet to be confirmed, while €200 has been raised so far by St. Columba’s NS.
The funds raised each year from Pancake Parties across Ireland enable staff at The National Children’s Hospital to continue to work with the most innovative & up-to-date medical equipment and also ensure that children in the hospital’s care are treated in a comfortable child-friendly environment. Over 65,000 children attend The National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght every year.
