The Donegal v Dublin game at Sean MacCumhaill Park has been given the go-ahead following a pitch inspection.
Referee Ciaran Branagan inspected the pitch three times upon arrival in Ballybofey.
A large amount of surface water was lying in several areas, but groundstaff from the Sean MacCumhaills club have been working tirelessly over the morning in an attempt to get it playable.
Branagan and his officials walked the pitch at around 12 noon and gave an initial green light.
Again, at around 12.40, they assessed its state again and, in spite of a steady flow of rain in the Twin Towns, they were back out at 1pm when they gave the thumbs up.
Around 12-13,000 are expected to be in attendance as Donegal face the defending League and All-Ireland champions Dublin, who are on a 31-match unbeaten run.
